Henry Fitzroy, author and graphic novelist.
These days I can be found in New York, wandering the nightlife and putting off the work for my ever increasing deadlines.
[The Last Resort]
Henry Fitzroy, bastard son of Henry VIII, vampire, romance writer. A bundle of contradictions in one handsome package, Henry has been breaking hearts since 1517. After his supposed death in 1536 he was spirited away from the city by Christina, his vampire sire. She taught him for one year what it meant to be a vampire, how to feed without drawing attention to himself, how to control his more dangerous and wild impulses. And then, at the end of that year, she left him. Considering he became a vampire for love of her, this left him somewhat distraught.
He spent most of his first century in England, shadowing those he had known in life and in at least one case, attempting to keep them with him for the rest of his. After everyone he had known in life was dead he began to travel Europe, spending a great deal of time in France, Spain, Italy. Eventually he made it to Canada, where he met Vicki Nelson. In the space of a very short time, she had taken his life and turned it upside down, challenging many of his ideas about vampire traditions and instincts.
When he checks into the Last Resort, it has been a few days since the events of Heart of Ice (TV series) and somewhat longer since the events of Blood Lines.
Henry Fitzroy is not mine. Either the historical figure (yes, he is real) or the character from the Blood books by Tanya Huff. He belongs to Tanya Huff, who may possibly have sold him to Lifetime TV. Kyle Schmid is not mine either, much as I may want him to be. He just plays Henry on TV. This journal and its contents are not intended as any disrespect to the author. Please don't smite me!
